The design for the residential home in Blake Hill, Poole was conceived by working closely with our client to ascertain their needs and aspirations for adapting their existing house into a modern and contemporary home that fitted their family’s present and future lifestyle. Upon reviewing the house’s original layout, it was evident that the existing footprint left the family squeezed for functional and usable space.  

As such, our response involved the creation of a small two storey extension to the side of the house, with space on the ground floor being allocated to a garage and a study, while the first floor a generous family bathroom and a guest ensuite were created. In doing so, the remainder of the floor was reconfigured allowing four spacious bedrooms as per our client’s requirements. We also opted to extend upwards to make a second floor dedicated solely as a master bedroom ensuite; a perfectly private haven illuminated from above by expansive roof lights and large windows framing the views of the distant greenery of Parkstone golf course.
